Literature Text
Non-corporeal daughter of the moon
sits in the sea, the silver stone field
playing a somber solo on her shimmering cello
that rouses to consciousness the sleeping stars
and lulls to sleep the earthbound waters;
if all is quiet, the weeping strings you can hear.
Yet what restless soul still wanders here?
a young man born opposite to the moon
prince of the Sun, prince of the stars
who desires to sing to the song of the cello
but is forced to live apart from the dim-lit field
distance kept forever by cold milky waters.
At dawn the prince sits at edge of the waters
and with the sunbeams' intensity he strains to hear
the nighttime orchestra, as soft as the light of the moon
and as heartfelt as the passionate burning of the stars
all personified in the singing strings of the cello
with silvery sweet notes pouring from the lonely field.
From the desolate field to the infinite waters
the prince of stars searches for the cello
and yearns to hear the loving words of the maiden of the moon.

Marriage Equality
I just want you to imagine with me for a moment.
Imagine you've found a person that completes you, that makes you feel happiness that you never thought possible.
They make you laugh.
They wipe away your tears.
You melt in their embrace.
Their kisses leave you breathless.
Their body, mind and soul, fit yours in what can only be described as perfection. To say you're in love with this person, is almost an understatement. You adore them. Everything they are, and everything they do.
Finally, the time in your lives comes when you want to be bonded together in a meaningful, significant way. You want to get married.
Now imagine, that you enc

The Closet
The monsters aren't in the closet.
The monsters are outside.
When we grew up we realized
That in there's where we should hide.
They chased us in here with their knives
And framed us for our "crimes".
They point and say, "Beware the closet!
Monsters are inside!"
I hear them talk about "my kind"
Through cracks between the door.
All I ask is for respect,
How could I ask for more?
The hateful glares, those judging looks
And all the dreadful things
Assault my waking moments
and stalk me in my dreams.
I shake and shiver, whimper and stir,
Safe inside my closet.
But safeness seems so temporary
when outside foes appall it.
We've

lesbian
She treads carefully down the hall
Trying hard to ignore them all
Glares of hatred, harsh tongues full of words of disgust
Cutting people down in their world is a must
She doesn't interact, only races to her locker
Avoiding them who judge her for loving another
To them it's sick, disgusting, wrong
To her their love is like a song
Unending, beautiful, and necessary
Hoping one day they can marry
But she is still condemned for her love
Of a girl who is surely from Heaven above
You heard correctly friends, oh yes it is true
She loves a girl, with blonde hair and eyes so blue
The only thing that keeps her going each day
Is being ab
